Our primary location is on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, serving military families and the families of DOD civilians. Our programs at this location are offered through MCCS Youth Activities. Dance Movement Academy offers classes in additional locations, including the Community Center at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, offered through the Hickam AFB Community Center.

We offer recreational and competitive level classes. We also have classes for children as young as one year old with parent participation.

Only active duty military, military retirees, reservists, national guardsmen, DOD civilians, and their respective dependents are eligible to use the programs shown on this website.
DANCE MOVEMENT ACADEMY "DMA" was founded by its Director Di Rodin in 1996 at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Di is an independent contractor for MCCS.

Di's professional and artistic background from the Municipal School of Ballet in Sao Paulo, Brazil and The Juilliard School in New York has inspired the love of dance to many children and adults. The school offers classes in:

Di is blessed to have qualified instructors that assist her in teaching classes with high standards of technique, discipline and artistic form. Di's passion for dance, quality in instruction, and dedication to her students, has inspired many children and adults to continue in the field of performing arts, including teaching dance after they leave Hawaii.
